Science Club's Guest Speaker
On Tuesday, October 28, 2008, Mr. Robert Reipe of the Army Corp of Engineers visited with the science club to talk about flood control and the floods of this past summer. JB Science Club is preparing a LEGO Robotics team for this year’s Robotics Regional to be held in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, December 13, 2008. The theme this year is “Global Climate,” and the team has been working on a research project and presentation dealing with the flood issues experienced this year in Iowa.
