JB had two teams
representing the school at the Iowa Bar Association's Junior Mock Trial regional
competition on Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the Scott County Courthouse.
The students who worked hard preparing their cases included eighth graders Tyler
Hurst, Richard Keimig, Kenny Nguyen, Don Smith, and Mary Reeves. Seventh
graders Meghan Essary, Mackenzie House, Jackie Howard, Kinzie Hull, Abby
Karwoski, Anesa Lovedy, Angela Tague, Shelbie Woolison, Aaliyah Neilan, Maya
Bostic, Autumn Torres, and Chris Holcomb also put in many hours on their case.
