         Welcome to Davenport West High School. We are a comprehensive high school with 2100 students in grades 9-12. Our students come from the west part of the city of Davenport, Iowa USA, as well as rural areas of Scott County including the towns of Walcott, Buffalo and Blue Grass. Ours is a reputation of excellence that spans nearly 50 years. We provide a positive school climate and a variety of award winning departments and staff members. Our students excel in academic, athletic, fine and performing arts and community programs.  West provides a quality education for our diverse student body. Our students come to our building as learners and establish the appropriate partnerships with staff.
