| Iowa Assessments for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be given on Wednesday, February 8th at West High. Students should arrive at school on time and report to assigned testing rooms. Snacks and water will be provided. Testing will be from 7:45 to 12:00. Students will be dismissed to lunch or home at Noon. School busses will run at 1:35. |

And good luck to all of our talented music students on the 4th and 5th as they compete in a major musical contest. Try outs for variety show will still be held after break so get to practicing West!
The West High KNIT WITS will meet on Monday to review casting on and maybe figure out how to add yarn and whatnot. Come join us and learn a fun skill. Room 115 Mondays after school
West High School Ecology Club will resume our meeting schedule on Tuesday Nights. Self-defense is over and this Tuesday we meet in 211 and we will be watching the documentary KING CORN !! Good times. We are also getting a list together of people wanting to go to the earth week fair, kayaking, the film fests and possibly to Costa Rica . See you on Tuesdays after school in room 211. Remember if you can’t hug a tree, hug a tree hugger.

We celebrate last night’s victory in Wrestling.
Last night the Falcon wrestlers defeated Muscatine by a score of 58-15.
The Falcons received victories from Joe Bierl, Tyler Lightner, Jason Bowman, Dylan Mitchell, Carter Thompson, Kahmani McQueen, Caleb Cousino, Josh Wendell, Kyle Verdon, Malik Salsberry, and Kyle Beale.
