Office wants you to feel comfortable and
prepared for your volunteer experience.
In partnership with
Iowa State University Scott County Extension
Office and the
Quad Cities Retired Seniors Volunteer
Program, we are pleased to provide a
series of volunteer training modules to
support volunteerism in our schools.

National Mentoring Organization - The
National Mentoring Partnership is an advocate
for the expansion of mentoring and a resource
for mentors and mentoring initiatives
nationwide.

This site connects you to the State of Iowa and
their resources on volunteering. If you are an
AmeriCorps volunteer, this sight allows you to
access information on other AmeriCorps projects
around the state.

Program) - RSVP (a national volunteer
program) provides seniors with the opportunity
to volunteer using skills and talents developed
over a lifetime, or explore new interests and

Educational Research and Improvement Center (E.R.I.C.)
- E.R.I.C. has been serving the needs of parents
and teachers for over 40 years. This
clearinghouse on Reading, English and
Communication is dedicated to providing
educational materials, services, and coursework
to everyone interested in the language arts.
