Student Fee Refunds
Transfers within the district -
Fees paid at one attendance center in the district transfer to
another attendance center in the district.
Transfers out of the district -
Procedures for refunding student fees vary depending upon
whether fees were paid by the semester or by the year. Student fees for
students who transfer out of the Davenport Community School district are
refunded as follows:
(1) For fees paid for one semester only
(a) Transfer between the first day of the school year
through the third Friday in September - full refund
(b) Transfer during first quarter after the third Friday in
September - one-half of fees paid for first semester
(c) Transfer during second quarter - no refund of fees
(d) Transfer during third quarter - one-half of fees paid
for second semester
(e) Transfer during fourth quarter - no refund
(2) For fees paid for an entire school year
(a) Transfer between the first day of the school year
through the third Friday in September - full refund
(b) Transfer during first quarter after the third Friday in
September - one-half of fees paid for first semester, plus all of fees paid
for second semester
(c) Transfer during second quarter - fees paid for second
semester
(d) Transfer during third quarter - one-half of fees paid
for second semester
(e) Transfer during fourth quarter - no refund
Newspaper and gym fees are not refunded; however, locker fees
are refunded in full.
