CHS would like to recognize CHS super cheerleader Hannah McAtee, while at the Burlington Cheer Camp this summer qualified for the UCA All-Star team. She will be cheering with the All Star team in London at the New Year’s Day Parade on January 1st, 2009. While in London she will be touring Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, the British Museum, Madame Tussaud's, Windsor, the River Thammes, and Covent Garden. We are proud of her excellence and wish her luck at this performance! 12-11
Hey Devils how about buying a used boys basketball uniform? These would be great to wear to games. See Mrs. Hansen in the gym if you are interested in purchasing either, shorts, pants, jackets or tops there are limited sizes available so get one soon. 12-11
Army JROTC is pleased to announce that Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Wilson has been selected as the principal choice by Congressman Braley for nomination to the Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD and the United States Military Academy at WestPoint. Ryan had to prepare a very detailed packet and attend an 8 person interview panel in Waterloo Iowa this past Saturday. Due to Ryan’s hard work here at Central and in AJROTC, Ryan demonstrated great character and professionalism. Great Job Ryan. 12-11
There will be a meeting for all students who signed up for show choir crew THIS THURSDAY, Dec. 11, right after school in the choir room. Any students not in attendance for this meeting will not be considered for crew membership. The meeting will only last about 20 minutes and details about the time and monetary commitments involved with show choir crew will be discussed. Please see Miss Wall with any questions. 12-11

Spanish Clubbers: please join us for a small holiday celebration this Friday after school. We'll have games, songs, crafts, and of course, FUN. Bring a snack or drink to share. This will be our last meeting of 2008! 12-12

The snow is here. The Bricolage staff is waiting for your original submissions concerning your Winter Wonderland.
