  • Tomorrow students and staff we have our next homeroom. This homeroom will be 5 minutes longer than usual. Please make sure you have a pencil or pen for this homeroom, you will receive copies of your B Term Midterm and taking a school survey. 12-3
  • Will the following students please stop by the Activities Office during passing time to pick up their Student Athletic Pass: Sean Russell, Chris Shaw, Michelle Ames, Jelena Cook, Erica Corlett, Nick Eddy, Rachel Flesburg, Vincent Gillum, Gary Harland, Kierra Henning, Abby Jenaman, Nick Peterson
  • The Blue devil wrestlers were in action last night at Gooselake. The blue devils beat the Tipton Tigers with and tied Northeast 36-36, but lost the dual on criteria. Paul Shumaker was 1-1 with a pin, Tommy Mirocha was 2-0, Taytay Tensley was 2-0, Nate Coonts was 2-0 with a pin, Dalen Turcsak was 1-1 with a pin, and Josh Behrendt was 2-0 with a pin. In JV action, TJ Meyer recorded a win and Nick Gonzalez had a fall. Great Job Blue Devils. 12-3
  • Attention yearbook staff members don’t forget about your lab hours today. You must put in at least two hours, but you can put in more. Signature 3 spreads are due tomorrow! See Mrs. Jasper if you have questions. 12-3
  • Indigo Ink has announced its December writing prompt.  Please be creative and send your submissions to room 501 or email newdevils@live.com or drop them in a submission box located in the library.  Listen carefully to the following prompt: You wake up one morning in jail with no memory of how you got there.  There are five items in your pockets and as you take them out, you begin to remember the events of the night before.  What are the items and how did you end up in jail?  Be creative, and we cannot wait to hear your stories!  12-3
  • There will be a Drama Club meeting on Thursday immediately after school in room 305 to hear about an opportunity for each of you. Be sure to come to listen to your options! 12-4
  • Calling all photographers, artists, and writers. We have the snow so now it is up to you. Submit your rendition of Winter Wonderland to Bricolage with Ms Jasper in 212. 12-5
  • Are you a true Blue Devil? Do you prefer the red or blue color during the holidays? Now is your chance to vote. During all lunches and at Friday at the basketball game December 5th make your voice heard. For a mere 25 cents you can sit on Santa (red) or Chanukah Harry's (blue) lap to tell him of your holiday wishes. Have your picture with the man for $3. Or just do a plain old vote for your preference using the penny jar. Funds collected will be used for community outreach during the 40th anniversary of the Tinker Supreme Court Case. Bring the spirits of the past to the present and help teach the future. Adults are welcome. The best pictures and wishes will be used in the BlackhawK. 12-5
  • Shades of Success/Boys to Men will meet on Wednesday at 1:40pm in room 419. New students are always welcome! Come and bring a friend. 12-5
  • Incredible! Fabulous! Just for me?!? Key Club is here for you! Want a personal assistant? You might have one Tuesdays after school. Key Club is offering their assistance to Central students. There is a sign up sheet in the guidance office, but signing up is not a requirement to get assistance. There will be Key Club members in the cafeteria by the oasis after school on Tuesdays to give you their undivided attention. Just drop in when you want assistance with work. If Tuesday does not work for you, we will try to accommodate; we're here to help!:) Let us know what day and time is conducive to your schedule. I know what you're asking yourself. "When does this incredibly fabulous option become available?!?" We will start these Tuesday sessions on December 9th at 2:45 in the cafeteria. Together we really can achieve higher academic excellence! 12-5
  • There will be a brief Mock Trial organizational meeting on Friday, December 5th at either 7:15 a.m. or 2:45 p.m. in room 501. If you are interested in participating in Mock Trial this year, please come to either of these meetings as we begin to organize our teams.  This will be a competitive year, so there will be a selective process to determine the teams. If you cannot make it to the meeting, please be sure to stop by and see Mrs. Heninger to fill out an application. The applications will be due on Monday, December 8th to room 501.  Be sure that they are in the possession of Mrs. Heninger by the end of the day on Monday, or you will not be considered for a position on a team. 12-5
  • Any students interested in signing up for show choir crew, please go to the choir room. The signup sheet will be on the board in the front of the room. Show Choir crew travels with Central's two show choirs during their competition season to assist them with their costumes and equipment. If you're interested in traveling and being involved with the show choirs, then crew is a great option for you. See Miss Wall in the Choir Room, Rm. 259, with any questions and to SIGN UP TODAY! 12-5
  • Attention students: There will be an "early bird" Driver Education class beginning Jan. 6 through Feb 22, 2009. Register soon to guarantee a slot. Registration forms are available in the counselor's office or contact Mr. Jurgena in room 529 for more information. 12-10
  • It’s getting cold outside and why not bundle up with Central hooded sweatshirts, sweat pants and other stuff to keep you warm. And what would be even better… FREE Central hooded sweatshirts and sweat pants. How you might ask? By buying a yearbook!!! When you buy your 2008-2009 year book between the dates of November 13th and December 12th you will automatically be entered into a drawing to win $50 dollars worth of Central gear. Don’t miss out. Buy your yearbook by December 12th to be entered into this great offer in the activities office. Get some memories, win some gear. 12-12
