COACH’S COMMENTS: Tremendous meet! For the first time in at least a dozen years, we brought home more than one medal from the most prestigious invitational meet in the Midwest! This is truly an invitational, unlike the other multi-team meets we go to during the season. For those who didn’t get the chance to compete, keep in mind that Sahvanuh ran in the 400H last year at Drake, and this year was almost a full second faster than last year’s qualifying time… and didn’t get invited. Only a select few get to compete, and in each event we were right in the hunt. It was nice to have coaches not be surprised to see Davenport Central up in front!
